Visit to Kanazawa

Today was the day to visit Kanazawa. We boarded the train and commuted to the city. Upon our arrival we were met by our awesome tour guide Sachi. She took us on our tour of the city. Answering our questions and bringing up amazing facts along the way.

We visited a Samurai House that had been preserved and turned into a museum. We also had the opportunity to enjoy a small tea ceremony while inside.

After the samurai village and house we cruised to enjoy a really good lunch. You had to pick your lunch from a screen and receive a ticket to receive your food. Chaperones got to enjoy that part since there were too many of us.

After lunch we headed over to the beautiful Kenrokuen Gardens and then Kanazawa Castle.
