2017 General Calendar

Our general meetings in May and June are every Tuesday, 6:30-8:00pm at the Monterey Youth Center.  There is a summer break from early June to late July.  The Nanao Junior Wings group visits Monterey in mid-August.  Meetings are weekly throughout September until the group visits Japan in early October.

Nanao Junior Wings Visit to Monterey
  • Aug 3 (Thu): Nanao Junior Wings arrive in Los Angeles
  • Aug 5 (Sat): Nanao Junior Wings Arrive in Monterey
  • Aug 5 (Sat): Welcome Party, 3:00PM-5:00PM, JACL Hall
  • Aug 6 (Sun): Group Kayaking at Monterey Bay Kayaks, 9:00AM-12:00PM
  • Aug 13 (Sun): Farewell Party, Monterey Youth Center, 6:00-9:00PM
  • Aug 14 (Mon): Nanao Junior Wings depart for Japan, Monterey Youth Center, meet at 7:30AM, car caravan departs at 8:00AM.

  • Oct 2-7: (Mon-Sat): Monterey Junior Wings in Nanao
  • Oct 8: (Sun): Depart Nanao/Kansai for USA
  • Oct 14: (Sat): Junior Wings 2016 Sayonara Party (time, location TBD)
