For lunch time the students are responsible for helping prepare the lunches for their classmates. Each class sits together, eats in a 15 minute time frame, then those same assigned students clean. You are responsible for all your own dishes and trash. All food is homemade and all students eat. We had an amazing Spaghetti lunch. After lunch the kids get free time for 30 minutes but not inside the cafeteria.

Nakanoto Middle School
On Tuesday the students got to observe and participate at Nakanoto Middle School. The kids sat in math and English class. They got to meet the students and try out the Japanese they know while the Japanese students tried out their English.

AJ stood up in front of all the students in the cafeteria and gave a speech in both Japanese and English. She knocked it out the park and had no worries about the amount of students watching and listening. Great job AJ!
For Japanese students they have to learn a form of martial art. At this school they had Kyudo (Archery), Kendo and Judo.
Thank You to the staff and students for your warm welcome and hospitality. Thank you Jr Wingers for your great representation of Walter Colton and Jr Wings.
