After the visit at City Hall the Jr Wingers got on a bus bound for some Nanao history. They visited the site of the castle ruins. This site was the original site for Nanao City. It's beautiful scenic views and very steep climb made it a fun challenge with a reward of beauty at the end.
*Note-This post is for Monday after City Hall
After the castle ruins we went to a beach that you could actually drive on.
We also had lunch. Some enjoyed soba while others got to eat curry.
Following the park it was time to let the kids learn how to make potpourri satchels and seaweed post cards. The kids learned about the different scents to make unique smells at the candle store. At the kelp store they learned about the importance of our seaweed and the environment. Everyone walked away with a kelp postcard and their own unique potpourri.
