A Visit to Nanao City Hall

The students arrived at City Hall this morning and were greeted by the Monterey Flag and a banner welcoming us to Nanao. We were ushered into a room where we met the Superintendent of Schools. Everyone received a gift and traded business cards with the Superintendent. Soledad did an awesome job doing her speech and was a great representation of both Colton and Monterey. Ms. Kellam spoke to the representatives of Nanao and spoke of how important the Jr Wings program is for both our cities to better our kids, share our cultures and make a better community.
The students got to ask the Superintendent questions. They ranged from do you have pets to questions regarding the local culture in the city.
