The chaperones spent the day walking around old town Nanao with Mr. and Mrs. Ienaka, and later, Setsuko. The students were with their host families. We visited an old soy sauce maker, candleshop, the bridal curtain museum where Kim dressed up in a wedding kimono. We had lunch of curried pork over rice made by our host Kiyomi, and then walked to the Fisherman's Wharf Food Market. For dinner we all made gyoza (potstickers) and inari-zushi together. A good time was had by all.
Looks like lots of fun!
