After a scenic and historical-filled day, our Jr. Wingers walked an amazing 8.4 miles all over Kyoto exploring 2 different temples, the Imperial Palace, and the Nijon Castle. Then they ate a delicious lunch, went shopping, and ended the day celebrating their fellow Jr. Wingers' birthday, Gabby! They are all adjusting well and are engaged in all that is going on. Looking forward to the rest of the tour tomorrow.
I see Nijo Castle is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Great that you are there! Wonderful history to it. I am a peer of Dana's where he works.
