Typhoon #18

As predicted, Typhoon #18 has reached Japan, but it seems it will stay mostly on the Pacific side of the country.  Here in Nanao it is raining hard, but there is not much wind.  We will keep to our schedule and visit Wajima for laquerware painting, but there is a chance the morning market will be canceled.  If so, we have an alternate plan to visit a local festival museum followed by the always popular shopping at the local 100 Yen Shop. The weather is expected to improve tomorrow and be good for the rest of the week.
