Kyoto sight seeing

Today Jr Wingers got to visit a couple of the  beautiful temples of Kyoto. Also the experience what it's like to be a sardine in an overly packed Japanese bus, go eat a tasty lunch buffet, see the Imperial Palace and do some shopping.

At the Youth Hostel

After a long safe journey on the plane, a 2 hour train ride, followed by a cramped 30 minute bus ride, we are now at the hostel. The kids have all been fed their first meal in Japan. So it's off to bed so they can be ready for an exciting day tommorow.

Arrived Safely

We have made it safely to Japan and we are on our way to the youth hostel. Some pics from the trip will be posted once we get there.

Kids have been great, for checked in smoothly! Soledad has won the award for the heaviest bag at 47 pounds! 😝

2019 Visit from Nanao!

We were so fortunate to host 5 students and 2 chaperones from Japan last week. The week was filled with fun, sightseeing, and many memories were made. We miss them greatly, but can't wait to see everyone in 37 short days!
