Terrific Tuesday!

What an amazing day! We began by going to City Hall where Mika gave an amazing speech and we met the vice mayor and superintendent. We received pins and got to speak with the superintendent m, asking her many questions! After, we went to Nanao Tobo Junior High School where we participated in English class and Calligraphy class. We spoke with the principal and had a school lunch! The kids received some Japanese snacks as well! Next, we participated in za zen meditation which was very relaxing and calming! Finally, we went to Notojima Farm and picked peppersc tomatoes, and eggplants! We returned to Nanao and the kids will enjoy a night with their families! Tomorrow we will go to Kanazawa!

We finally made it! A long day of travel was made better by amazing students! It is a National holiday Monday in Japan, so students get to enjoy a free day with their family. Check back on Tuesday to see how our adventures are!

Summer with Junior Wings!

What a fantastic Summer with Junior Wings! We've been to Japan town, a Tea Ceremony in Pebble Beach, and are officially (tickets purchased!) going to Japan! Our Travel Dates are October 6-October 14. We are so excited for our trip to begin and look forward to seeing our friends in Nanao!
